Yet another variant of the A-7 HUD saw service and probably as much action on the Mirage III. In 1972 for example 269 HUDs were supplied by Marconi Elliott Avionic Systems for the Dassault Mirage IIIC. This unit provided regulation of the Mirage III power rails to suit the input requirements of the A-7 HUD system.
