A circuit board from an early Air Data Computer. Elliott Parts records show an Air Data Computer with Pt No. 81-01-06 for the HS001 Maritime Comet (which became the Nimrod) so possibly this module, with the additional suffix -90, was part of this unit. The Collection has a later Nimrod Air Data Computer Pt. No. 81-01-26.This type of modular construction dates from the early1960’s. It was in 1962 that the Military Aircraft Controls Division of Elliott Brothers (London) Ltd produced a design based on small plug-in modules many of which would have reusable functions in other units.
