The cylinder projecting from the control panel is a battery holder. The lid contains a compartment for an auto separation test tool. However, at present we have no idea of the function of the Auto Detach that this tests.
CAGE Code K0662 refers to Selex.
The dimensions are with the case closed.
The unit bears a badly worn inspection label (QC/TEG/15) that bears the marks:
"Ferranti, Date Jan 1991, CNR,"
and is inspection stamped:
"F.Ltd. E.89"
The case is marked in yellow paint with: "!INV CJB, SAOEU FLY/CLOTH"
