In the 1980s the transputer was a novel parallel processor produced by Inmos in Bristol UK that was optimised to run software developed in the Occam language.
There are two of these modules which are probably development models in different stages.

Note the large amount of modification done to the printed circuit wiring on the rear of the card; the fine white wire used for this was always called ‘mod’ wire. It is not currently known which project this Module was used on and the assumption has been made that this and the related Module are indeed linked on the basis of a similar Part Number.
