Laser protection glasses were manufactured in the Falcon Building at Rochester using similar technology to that employed on the Diffractive Head Up Displays. The Company had a number of small contracts to build glasses; the largest order was for the British Army and some were also made for Pilot protection and yet others were made for Ground Crew protection. The actual wavelengths the glasses protect against are of course classified.
These Laser protection goggles are a variant for the British Army without a case. The nameplate text is moulded into the rubber side pieces.
