Mod Record -
This unit is an oddity which uses the back end from a development standard (-01) EHDD, but has a different flat bezel. The bezel has an array of Infra-red emitters and detectors built into it to provide a touch screen. This was developed by George Bull in the mid 1980s and was a favourite at Company Open Days when programmed with cartoon characters. Touch screens were however not accepted by Pilots so much because of the risk of getting finger marks on the screen which could obscure the display.
