Description of Type Design Change: Installation of the Honeywell HUD-2020 Head Up Display System on the Gulfstream G-IV airplane for Category II approach criteria in accordance with FAA approved Master Data List Spec. No. 5220-0697, Revision "C," dated April 30, 1997, or later FAA approved revision. FAA approved Honeywell Airplane Flight Manual Supplement to the Gulfstream Model G-IV Airplane Flight Manual Spec. No. 5100-61-2521, Revision "-", dated April 10, 1997, or later FAA approved revision, are required as part of this installation.
Limitations and Conditions: This installation should not be incorporated in any aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. STC No. SA4384NM-D must be installed prior to this installation on each airplane.
This certificate and the supporting data which is the basis for approval shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.

The STC, which incorporates by reference the related TC, approves not only the modification but also how that modification affects the original design.
This is a Supplemental Type Certificate issued to Honeywell giving authority from the FAA to install the HUD 2020™ system into the Gulfstream IV aircraft. The STC was issued on April 30th 1997.
