In April 2002 we were awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2002 for the continuous innovation and development in the field of Helmet Display Technology.
This commemorative mug is a token of our appreciation for the hard work and dedication that has been put into this technology over the last 25 years across both our Edinburgh and Rochester sites.

Notes:

In April 2002 BAE Systems was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2002 for the continuous innovation and development in the field of Helmet Display Technology.
A commemorative blue and white china mug was given to all employees. The Avionic Systems Division was the Division dedicated to display development at South Gyle in Edinburgh although the award covered the work done in Airborne Displays Division at Rochester as well. The Museum hold four of these mugs.
