Firth Cleveland Instruments

Firth Cleveland had its origins in 1950 when it was split off from British Lead Mills and in 1957 was renamed as Firth Cleveland Instruments when it became part of Simmonds Aerocessories. In 1961 the Firth Cleveland Instruments business was acquired by Elliott Automation to form the Elliott (Treforest) company.
