The Collection and Archive

The RAA's collection exceeds 1850 pieces of equipment such as HUDs, Air Data Computers and Gyros, and our substantial archive includes Brochures, Company Newspapers, Films, Videos and Photographs. The oldest item is a Spitfire Reflector Sight but the majority of the items are of post war origin. Equipment made or relevant to the Rochester site and the products of Elliott Bros, Marconi and BAE Systems are emphasised, although there are some items which have gained a place purely because of their interest value.
