MLU HMCS FLIGHT DEMONSTRATION

GEC-Marconi Avionics and Honeywell Military Avionics teamed in 1995 to produce a fully integrated “Look and Shoot” Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS). This program was part of the F-16 Mid-life update.
Honeywell Military Avionics produced all the hardware and software associated with the helmet tracking elements of the system and GMAv provided display electronics and symbol generation. Each will contribute existing flight proven helmets with the HMCS to be flight demonstrated on the F-16.
