The P110 project was the so-called Jaguar replacement, was a single-seat twin-engined fighter. This project started in 1969 as Air Staff Target 396. It then became AST 403; then the European Combat Aircraft [ECA]; then the P110. Ultimately this development led through the Agile Combat Aircraft [ACA], the Experimental Aircraft Programme [EAP] and finally to the Eurofighter Typhoon.
This item comprises a two bladed penknife and a bottle opener with a screwdriver tip within a leather case marked P110.
