The Certificate accompanies the Award and this one is in recognition of the success of GEC Avionics in exports in 1983. This was a joint honour with the award for MASD for Technology for the AQS902 Acoustic Processor.

This unframed certificate is stored in a stout blue cardboard tube 357mm long x 64mm diameter and, with the certificate inside, weighs 322g.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of:
