Notes:

These china mugs were used on Concorde for in-flight beverages. The first commercial flight was from London Heathrow to Bahrain on the 21 January 1976 and the last flight was on the 24 October 2003 so we cannot easily date these cups. During the flight itself vintage champagnes were served and gourmet dishes were presented on Royal Doulton bone china. Fine coffee would have been served from these cups. We do not have saucers and it is hard to believe that there were not matching ones! Personal attention was assured, with one member crew attending to every nine passengers.
