Like many large organisations the Company has a range of hand-outs as gifts for Air Shows and Open Days. The handouts usually have a corporate logo or a programme name so are a form of advertising.
A stress ball is a malleable toy, usually not more than 7 cm in diameter. It is squeezed in the hand and manipulated by the fingers, ostensibly to either help relieve stress and muscle tension or to exercise the muscles of the hand. Despite the name, many stress balls are not spherical.
A blue and green stress ball in form of a globe of the earth with the BAE Systems logo on it reinforcing the image of the global company. The RAA holds three of these items which were made sometime after the merger in 2000.
