Notes:

The combined amplifier/indicator was developed to meet the precise needs of the Trident. The unit combined the functions of both amplifier and indicator in a single unit. It improves upon the earlier two-unit systems, wherein the amplifier was housed in a separate box, saving weight and gaining ± 0.75% in accuracy. The Fuel Flow is by an analogue dial and the Fuel used by a digital mechanical counter.

The Flow Rate and Fuel Used Indicator was made by Elliott Bros Aircraft Engine Instruments Division at Rochester. It is an experimental unit identified by the 'EXH' marking, but is similar to the Trident units.

The "BAL" & "CAL" markings are alongside small holes in the casing, presumably to allow for adjustment of the indicator.
