A head-mounted optical projec┬Čtion aystem (HOPROS) designed to replace desktop computer and video display monitors. It was offered by Applied Technologies International Corp. St Louis MO. but the original original design is a trademark of Optronic Instruments & Products N.V. (Delft) and was filed in September (1995). The device operates with a belt-pack-mounted battery and controls, and interfaces with standard computer (VGA) and video (NTSC)devices.It uses a mirrored prism in front of one or both eyes, enabling the user to see through the imagery and maintain a view of the surroundings or work piece
HOPROS is a two part system with interconnecting cable. Dimensions given are for the head mounted projector. The Power/Control box dimensions are 82 x 40 x 123. The overall length inc. cable is 1540mm. Weight given is for the combined system. A user manual is included.
