HMD CRT Cable Assembly

This is a Helmet Mounted Display umbilical cable from the CRT in the helmet to the tubular Quick Release Connector. The CRT is unusual in having a fibre-optic faceplate which is a coherent fibre optic plate that precisely transmits an image from its input surface to its output surface.
The overall assembly has no identifying marks but the partially obscured markings shown above are on the CRT assembly.
The above dimensions are for the CRT element but the weight includes the 1.5m of cable.
Since there is only one CRT on the cable it is possible that this cable was for the Falcon Eye biocular HMD.
