Barometer in silver case with no markings manufactured about 1895. The instrument measures up to 10,000ft and is also calibrated in inches of mercury. There is an adjustment screw on the rear panel.
The item comes in a hard leather hinged case.
The scale is calibrated from about 22 to 30 inches Hg and also in altitude from 0 to 8,000 feet which indicates that it could have been used by climbers or balloonists.
