This Plan Chest is believed to be from the early days of Elliott Bros on the Rochester site. It may even have been acquired from Short Bros.
The contents date from 1946 to 1986 and cover major site drawings, plans, facilities and repairs for example. The drawings are owned by the Rochester Site Facilities group and provide an historic record for their work in maintaining the site and planning for repairs and improvements.
The height given includes the legs.
The weight of the Chest, which is currently full of drawings, has not yet been measured.
