Taylor Electrical Instruments

Taylor Electrical Instruments Limited is now a dissolved company originally incorporated in 1939. The company was located in Slough and in the Catalogue of the British Industries Fair in 1947 they show that they supplied Electrical Multi-range Measuring Instruments, Signal Generators, Signal Tracers, Valve Testers, Oscilloscopes, Resistance and Portable Moving coil Instruments, and Rectifier and Thermocouple Instruments. 

In 1958 Avo Ltd took over Taylor Electrical Instruments Ltd and in turn in 1959 Metal Industries Ltd acquired Avo Ltd. Finally in 1967 Thorn Electrical Industries took over Metal Industries.
