The plan is circa 1939 as it shows the Main Hangars and Assembly shops and further to the West is the Pobjoy Engine Works.
The Hangars and other buildings at the South end of the Aerodrome are in place.
The various defensive Forts can be seen and what looks like the start of construction of the Davis Estate roads opposite the airfield.
