Notes:

The Lockheed AC-130 gunship is a heavily armed, long-endurance, ground-attack variant of the C-130 Hercules transport, fixed-wing aircraft. A variant of the A-7 HUD design was installed in the AC-130E ‘Spectre’ Gunship to act as a sight for the sideways firing cannon. Basically the HUD was stood on end on the left side of the cockpit. The optical module was adapted with the fold mirror removed such that the exit lens was now straight through to the end of the HUD and the Combiner Glass was located across the lens as usual.
