Wimperis Accelerometer
The Wimperis Accelerometer was designed by the noted engineer Harry Wimperis around 1909 for measuring the performance of motor vehicles. This particular item was manufactured around 1936 by Elliott Brothers of Lewisham probably for the Solex Carburetter Co.
